Please reach us at info@artisanleaf.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Please email or call us with your request. We can give you a fabrication quote if you provide us with what you are interested in, shape, dimensions/measurements and anything else that is outside the norm.
Our standard lead times are 4-6 weeks once we have a confirmed order with all product and design specifications and a 50% deposit.
Note that most of our production is custom made to order. Please contact us to discuss the unique characteristics of your project so we can help guide you through the process.
We are at our busiest during the 4th quarter (Oct-Dec) and our lead times can move further out during those times.
The epoxy we use is made to be durable and long lasting in a variety of environments. It is best cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaning solution (e.g. Windex) and a cloth. Note that abrasive cleaners and/or rough cloths can scratch the surface.
Our products are made for indoor use and are not recommended for outdoors. We do have some customers that use our products on outdoor covered porches. The epoxy we use is impermeable, but it is not resistant to UV light so extended time in the elements will discolor and damage the product.
If you would like your product to have a marine grade epoxy as a final coat, we can do that for an upcharge. Please contact us directly with this request.
The standard epoxy we use on our products is clear and glossy. We have experimented with a matte finish in the past and are working on a process that will make that a possibility in the future. For now, it is not a standard offering.
For our smaller products shipping isn't too difficult or costly. However, much of what we make is larger tables/bars and panels that are oversized, heavy and fragile. As such, we then have to custom build wooden crates for their protection during transit. It is often costly and cumbersome, but something we have no control over.
This is a request we receive frequently. Assuming the tobacco leaves brought in to us are usable (determined by us when we see the leaves in person), we can use them in our production. Occasionally the leaves brought to be used are too dry and dessicated to be used in our products.
