Flue-Cured
Flue-Cured tobacco is where it all started for ARTISAN LEAF.
This leaf is dried with heat directed from flues or pipes that extend from a furnace into the barn. We source leaves directly from local farmers and are able to hand select them directly out of the barn!
Flue-Cured leaves are bright and the color varies from golden to deep orange.
Burley
Burley is a larger plant than the flue-cured tobacco and it's 'air-cured’ by hanging in structures with a roof, but with open sides to allow air to freely circulate. Predominantly grown in Kentucky and Tennessee.
Burley leaves are light brown in color.
Cigar Leaf
Cigar Leaf is a fire-cured tobacco (small fires are built on the floor of enclosed barns). Primarily from the Dominican Republic, where they are specifically grown as "wrapper" leaves. They are the most standardized ARTISAN LEAF, in terms of size, shape and color.
Cigar Leaf vary in color from dark brown to umber.
Dark Fired Burley
Dark Fired Burley is a larger plant and it's 'fire-cured’. Small fires are built on the floor of enclosed barns. This US crop is mostly grown in Kentucky and Tennessee. Usually very large leaves, our Dark Fired tobacco is a dark, rich mahogany color.
Tables
ARTISAN LEAF offers various standard and custom size tabletops.
Standard thickness is approximately 1.5" substrate, 1.75" (with epoxy).
Options Include:
Leaf Type: Flue-Cured, Burley, Cigar Leaf, and Dark Fired Burley
Standard Shapes: Round, Square, Rectangular or Oval
Edge: Wrapped Edge, Painted or Stained Wood Edge
Leaf Pattern: Straight Lay, Starburst or Random
We also offer standard & custom wood and metal bases.
Bars
ARTISAN LEAF will custom build your bar to your specifications.
Standard thickness is approximately 1.5" substrate, 1.75" (with epoxy).
Standard bar size is approximately 24" wide, length built to size.
Options Include:
Leaf Type: Flue-Cured, Burley, Cigar Leaf, and Dark Fired Burley
Edge: Wrapped Edge or Wood Edge.
Leaf Pattern: Straight Lay
We DO NOT offer bar bases.
Panels
ARTISAN LEAF can customize panels, architectural components and decorative panels that are ideal for residential and commercial spaces.
Standard substrate thickness: 1/4" - 3/4"
We will make panels to your specifications.

We offer a variety of coasters, individual leaves, trays, humidors, state map cutouts, ornaments, picture frames, animal cutouts, and much more!
We can also personalize some products through our Custom Shop (minimum order required).
